NeverBowDown was founded in late 2019. These 5 guys from Schleswig-Holstein / northern germany are influenced by thrash, hardcore, punk and metal.
In spring 2023, Andy left the band. Luckily NBD was able to quickly find a new 6 string. With Chris on board, they are looking for an energetic 2024 full of modern metal.
NEVER BOW DOWN can connect quite quickly, after all, nothing has to be change on stage and a sound check took place early on. CROWBAR keeps coming to my mind, even though NEVER BOW DOWN don’t sound overly similar now. But there are parallels in the vibes, especially since metal is fused with hardcore, massive guitars roast and Phil’s vocals alternate between aggressive and melodic parts. The clean vocals are used less often, but fit in well and could definitely be expanded. Once again a good band from Neumünster, in which, by the way, some familiar faces play, e.g. Mossa from Ex-BGT and DREADLINK on drums.

At the moment NBD are working on a re-release of their first record and new songs. It´s planned for the beginning of 2024.
